Our fellowship in the Capitol Hill neighborhood comprises people both young and old from all over the Seattle metro area. On Sundays you will experience an intergenerational community of Christians who strive to live in deep community with Christ, one another, and their neighbors through sacred and common table fellowship. Simply put, we hold Jesus’ meal sacred. We also love getting together beyond the service around meals to talk, pray, and share.
Every Sunday at 10am we gather for a chanted service of lessons, prayers, and our weekly celebration of the sacred table fellowship of the Lord’s Supper. The music of our worship is drawn from the wellspring of the Western Christian liturgical traditions spanning all cultures and centuries since the earliest days of the Christian church. After worship we practically eat a full meal downstairs and everyone is welcome (even if they didn’t make it to church).
Every Sunday before the service at 8:45am we gather to study the Word of God for an hour.
On the first Friday of every month at 6:30pm we gather to eat, talk, and laugh around a common potluck meal.
We are passionate about blessing our community through:
- Hosting three large (and free!) neighborhood block parties: A Luau in the Spring, An Oktoberfest in the Fall, and a Winterfest celebration closer to December.
- Assistance to Compass Housing Alliance
Partnering with others
We also bless others together with some wonderful neighborhood organizations:
Here on Seattle’s Capitol Hill, it is our hope that whenever you are with us you will feel and know that God has a special place and love for you. You have an open invitation to participate in worship, educational programs, fellowship, concerts, conversations, or a gift of service at one of our community projects. Your presence here makes our community richer and fuller, and we hope to see you again soon and often.
